I loved the Chinese Garden in Chinatown which was peaceful and beautiful. It's a great place to relax right in the middle of the city's bustle.
You traverse the garden via a wandering path that went through buildings, around ponds and waterfalls, all which had symbolic meaning which was explained on little plaques. I was fascinated by all the
open windows in the walls which made great frames for different views. Despite its small size, the garden was really well done with twists and turns surrounded by natural rock sculptures, pagodas and enclosed walkways. There was also a place where you could dress up in traditional Chinese costumes to have your picture taken.
