At the Guggenheim's "Brazil: Body & Soul" exhibition, these Catholic healing icons were fascinating. The Brazilians carved an image of whatever part of their body needed healing. You can see some of the wooden breasts that some poor women had needed to be healed, as well as other various severed parts.
